SUMMER CAMPS
School’s out! And kids should be too. Summer camps offer a structured, fun, and safe environment for campers to make summer break better than ever!
Meet the Founder, Andrew Prazar
North Shore Nature Programs Founder, Andrew Prazar, spent nearly all his time in the outdoors as a child. He loved exploring the woods, streams, and ponds near his house. He didn’t know anything but a life alongside nature and understands firsthand the many benefits of spending time outside as often as possible. With thousands of hours spent in the field, 15 years of career experience, and a Master’s in Environmental Education from UNH, Andrew started North Shore Nature Programs in 2013, coupling his ability to spark curiosity and a lifelong love of nature with his passion for outdoor education for kids!
Andrew’s favorite part of nature is:
-
The peace and solitude it offers
-
The chance to learn something new every time you experience it
-
The much-needed break from the chaos of the day to restore, refresh, and reset
-
The sense of belonging it provides
Meet the Staff
Cori Bourdon, Program Director
Cori began working as NSNP's Program Director in 2024. She has over 10 years of experience in the environmental education field and loves the way it combines connecting with both nature and people. She has a Master's in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Vermont and also sits on the board of the Massachusetts Environmental Education Society. Cori was born and raised in the North Shore and now lives in Amesbury with her partner and son who indulge her as she points out every bird, mushroom, leaf, rock, and bug they see!
Morgan Davidson, Lead Educator
Morgan joined the North Shore Nature Program’s team in 2022. She grew up in Beverly, MA where she got to attend nature camp as a child. Camp was where her love for nature grew. Following her passion, she received her B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Education from Endicott College. She’s grateful for the opportunity to foster the next generation’s love for the planet through hands-on exploration and experiential learning. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing with her cats, and spending time with friends and family!
Philosophy & Mission
It’s never lost on us that we, as humans, are an integral part of a global ecosystem. Something often overlooked, we don’t take it for granted that a symbiotic relationship with the environment and nature is necessary for our survival.
North Shore Nature Program desires to awaken this sense of connection for everyone!
Environmental education is the key to instilling a love of nature in adults and children and cultivating the importance of being a lifelong steward of the planet.
Our vision is to foster a generation of individuals who see the delicate balance between humans and the planet and make informed decisions for the betterment of all life.
We’re rooted in three core beliefs that every child…
-
Deserves to spend part of every day in nature
-
Needs a place to belong and feel accepted for who they are
-
Thrives in learning about their interconnection to the ecological environment around them
At North Shore Nature Programs, we provide a warm, welcoming, and caring space for children to grow, connect with nature, have fun, and belong.
With programs for schools, students, families, groups, and children on summer break, we offer kids a bridge to a safe, enriching outdoor experience.
“Nature always seems to be trying to talk to us as if she had some great secret to tell. And so she has.”
- John Lubbock
