After School Adventures
A perfect outlet after a day spent in the classroom!
Our After School Adventures programs are a great way for your child to unwind and release energy after a long day in school. After playing a few games, your children will follow our veteran educator-naturalists into the woods to explore. We offer our ASA program at three unique locations: Camp Denison in Georgetown, which offers over 40 acres of woodland and shoreline to explore; the North Shore UU church in Danvers which has 12 wooded acres along with easy access to the Danvers-Wenham Rail Trail; and Breakheart Reservation in Wakefield. Choose which ever day and location work best for you!
Late Winter After School Adventures
Late winter is a great time to get outside and explore. Our After School Adventures program allows your child an opportunity for fresh air and exploration after a long day in the classroom. Participants can expect to learn wilderness skills, how to track animals, and search for amphibians as they emerge from their winter slumber. Our Wednesday program is for slightly older students and will focus more on wilderness skills such as shelter building, fire tending, knot tying, and blade safety.

Spring After School Adventures
With warming temperatures and emerging plants and animals, spring is the optimal time to be outside. During this session, students will forage for the first wild edibles of the season, try their hand at creating a bird’s nest, and explore the wetlands to see if they can catch tadpoles and insects as they swim about. Our Wednesday program is for slightly older students and will focus more on wilderness skills such as shelter building, fire tending, knot tying, and blade safety.
